Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer Visits La Plaza Cultural

We had a great turnout for the grant award announcement this past Saturday.  Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, State Senator Brad Hoylman, Assemblyman Brian Kavanagh, Citizens Committee CEO Peter Kostmayer, and Solid Waste Advisory Board Chairman Brendan Sexton were all in attendance, among others including our neighbors, other grant winners across Manhattan, and community gardeners from other gardens.
